The Frontiersman, This is an early American frontier design that was actually made as a survival and camp working tool, a knife for the mountain man. I designed this bowie-style from my many years of experiance and back country packing trips. Attending Rendezvous in the Rocky Mountains and elsewhere contributed to the thought and design of “The Frontiersman.” Over all length is 13 inches with genuine bone handle slabs fitted with 11 brass pins. Grip is 5 inches plus. It is 1 3/4 inch wide and a full 2 inches deep at the finger guard.
This is a limited edition of 100 with #1 reserved for myself. I have not made any more as I’ve been waiting for my book, “Purple Rains” to be published. An early American novel of life as it was from 1829 thru 1843. This knife comes with a heavy duty leather, period correct sheath! Knife #2 thru #100 will sell @ $700.00 each. Each Series knife comes with a signed, dated Certificate Of Authenticity.
A throwing version of the same style, not a numbered series, with leather grip will be made available for $400.00.
